The EIC Pathfinder Open 2025 supports visionary research aiming to develop breakthrough technologies. It is open to proposals in any field of science, technology, or application without predefined thematic priorities. The program targets high-risk/high-gain research projects that lay the groundwork for radically new technologies with the potential to create new markets or address global challenges.
The funding covers early-stage development of future technologies, including activities at low Technology Readiness Levels (TRL 1-3), up to proof of concept. Grants of up to €3 million per project.
